Relationship & Resources for Those Shaping Our World
When you came to Geneva whether as an executive in global business, to represent your country at the United Nations or to serve the world’s people through providing leadership in one of several UN agencies or NGOs, you were appointed to a task much larger than yourself. Your perspective on world problems was elevated above that of the ordinary person. But the view from the top is not always pleasant and often unsettling.
The world's problems are so complex. Struggles run deep in every nation and in every human heart. Yet the burden for finding suitable solutions rests with you. This can be a burdensome and even lonely task.

(GLF) 4-6 December 2009
This year, 2009, marks the 500th birth year of John Calvin, a French scholar who accepted the challenge to settle in Geneva and help transform the city in the 16th century. Calvin became one of the central figures of the Reformation of that time, which brought the reality of personal faith in Jesus Christ into the public arenas of education, banking, families and other sectors of society. The reformation brought transformation as biblical principles and values were lived out for the benefit of the Geneva community.
